This dog has lost a hundred pounds in a year, maybe two, all willingly and with the happiest personality. Some people have difficulties losing five pounds a month, and they get so discouraged they can't even leave their house. I wonder what we could achieve if we all had the determination and support that Kai had.

Brought to the vet by the owners to be put down! What I could see a little old lady or gentleman who overfed him and maybe passed away. And the remaining family didn’t want him. :-( but his owners! What an amazing woofie and family!

From obese and about to be put down, to becoming a therapy dog and helping thousands, I love therapy animals, they really make a hug difference for people in need. We almost missed out on this great boy, thanks for saving him.

Sorry but you were killing him with the wrong type of food, dogs are carnivores like us! Veggies kill and are not healthy! Thanks for what you did, also he looks like he might have a bad hip as he limps a little.

Doesn't even look like the same dog. This lady should feel so proud. Kai needed to go on this journey with a person that would take the journey as well, and she was the one. Bless you!

The only mention of Kai's new diet was healthy food (carrots, blueberries, bananas) but what else did she feed him I'd really like to know what his diet was like.
