I can't believe there are countries in the world where people throw sticks and STONES at animals. I know people sadly will abuse animals in any country, but it is UNACCEPTABLE that it socially tolerated anywhere. Shame on the country mentioned in this video for allowing it - it's not personal against all the citizens, but if it is ignored and is a problem, it needs fixing. Thanks for bringing it to our attention, and best of all, helping Archie heal! Good for you and him!

Im sorry I just don't understand how you can start to love all these presious animals and then just basically get rid of them / letting them go to someone else im crying right now just watching this don't you have feelings don't you have a do you even cry doesn't your just drop to the floor when you let them leave im just shocked your actually abandoning them think how this and all the other animals feel

The first time she took him into town, he learned that he was safe while he was there, and she took him back home afterwards, showing him that he wasn't going to be left alone again to fend for himself. The second time they went into town, he was more relaxed because he knew that they'd spend a short time there, she'd keep him safe while they were there, and then they'd go back home.

You all do know that rehoming dogs that fearfull who spend months bonding with a foster only to lose them and start all over is TRAUMTIC and sets them up for failed adoptions I hate when fosters DONT FAIL after bonding with dogs like this ITS SO HARD ON THEM. I know ive wotnessed too many dogs moved around again and again to not say donething

Thank you for rescuing this fluffy friend, but people throw stones and sticks, and mistreat animals all over the world. Ignoring animals in need is also bad, and that happens in the more developed countries. We definitely need more good humans all over the world, and punishments for those who don't take care of animals.

what you do for theses pets is so heartfelt and humanitarian. I'm almost on tears watching this Reminds me of dog Rocky (blessed memory, who passed away over my lack of care because of work. This hurts me always but gladly I got a home job that earns me lots of dollars and also give me time to care for my pet

It's disheartening to learn about the unfortunate practice of Bulgarians throwing rocks and sticks at dogs. My hope is that witnessing the compassionate efforts of these rescuers, like those who saved sweet Archer, will inspire a positive shift in their attitude towards vulnerable animals.

We adopted a dog that lived on the streets in Spain. She wouldnt come near humans, but bonded with one of our male dogs. After 6 months, she would pat his head and humans legs with her paw. Figured out that she had seen us petting the other dogs, so she learned to pet them and humans.

casually makes Bulgarians seem like awful people with that line in bulgaria, people will throw stones and sticks at dogs which isn't really fair. not to mention, they didn't report him having any injuries when he was picked up so why even bring up your assumptions of Bulgarian people

Sad as soon as he gets used to this family he could be adopted by someone else. Poor animals, people have no idea what they do to their emotions/psyche when they are dumped or surrendered. Every pet I have had has been until they passed, as it should be. They are family!

It's heartbreaking to imagine what these dogs have experienced that makes them cower at the prospect of a human touch. It must be challenging to teach them that an outstretched hand can convey LOVE, rather than cruelty. Thank you for showing Archer that we aren't all bad.

Puppy doesn’t want to be touched, until he does being cautious is normal behaviour for a dog that meets new people. Some dogs don’t even enjoy being held, ever. Archer seems like a regular good boy, nothing unusual about him in this video, considering the circumstances.

In Bulgaria people throw sticks and stones at animals Really Can you elaborate on this Is it everybody or you just witnessed an isolated incident and assumed that’s the norm in Bulgaria I am so tired of this western European superiority complex.

Dogs are so innocent; they just want to be loved. Imagine being part of a culture that thinks throwing sticks and stones at them is acceptable. Don't get me started on those that choose to eat them. I'm thrilled this precious being was saved.

It's so sad because we don't know what these animals have been through how they were treated. But we do get to see the end and this guy is so sweet and caring and loving thank you for saving him

I cant even imagine why people would throw sticks and stones at animals. But Karma will hopefully teach them that theyre wrong and could learn a lot from animals. Thank you for helping them

Archer will always know who took him upon her knee to calm his beating heart! Hearts never forget! Thank you for joining him on his journey and loving him like he's never known!
reply

Poor puppy he learned to trust YOU and he loves you and feels safe and you’re going to get rid of him That’s heartless in a case like this where the dog has been through trauma
reply

Thank you for the update, The Dodo! The heartwarming transformation in this touching video is a perfect reminder of the incredible love and empathy animals are capable of.
