When this active husky got sick, he couldn't play in the snow anymore until his dad came up with a genius idea Sally told us about a very special surprise that her boyfriend put together and Wiley's adorable reaction to it! You can keep up with Wiley on TikTok: Love Animals

Yeah but also remember that you didn’t train him as a sled dog so be careful having him pull your weight on the snow. He’s a pet not a working dog per say. He looks happy outside so give him time to soak up the snow, the moment. Depression also causes us to feel ill. So giving him plenty of playtime would do him good. Add bone and joint supplements to his diet. And lots of love. I’m not an animal expert but if you check with your vet I’m sure they’ll agree. Good luck. Plenty of kisses and maybe a little friend for him to play with although I wouldn’t recommend another dog. It’ll be too much for him to keep up and he might get really stressed and upset( that I’ve lived, not pretty)

Reminds me of when my dog had inflammation around one of her vertebrae. It came and went, so it was almost impossible to figure out what was wrong at first. She would be in so much pain, even unable to walk at times because it affected her spinal cord and limited the use of her back legs. But between anti-inflammatory medication and cold laser and red light therapy, she was up and running again.

Your boyfriend is the best! You may want to give Wiley better food. Kibble lacks any nutrition and is highly processed. My dog loves the Farmer's Dog. Give Wiley live food and organ meat (liver, sweet potatoes, vegetables, and berries, and see if that improves his condition. Diet is essential in an animal's well-being.

Aw! As a fellow sufferer of chronic pain, I know how it can be! Snow sounds like the perfect thing for a sort of full-body ice pack, especially for a snow dog! I wonder if dogs get fibromyalgia, too. Maybe that's what's happening with Wiley.

I wish there was a diagnosis for the poor guy but I'm glad he has great care givers. I'd also love to see a follow up video telling us what's wrong and what the vet can do to help him. Hang in there Wiley, we're all rooting for you!

Poor Wiley! Sending hugs and smooches across the country to this beautiful puppers, and praying that he gets well and is able to run in the snow next winter! And prayers, too, for his hoomans, who love their fur baby so much!

That was horrible to hear and watch him cry In pain. I think he may have pinched nerve in his back. Our shepherd had it and it was hard for him to get up or sit back down. Hope he recovers.

I hope you find out what's going on with Wiley & that it will be healed. And um your boyfriend is definitely a keeper! He is not only thoughtful & compassionate he can build things!

We need updates on Wiley's condition and to know what's wrong. I really feel sorry for him. Keep up the good spirits, Wiley. I'm glad that the igloo makes him a little happier.

Bless all your hearts. University of PENN has great vet school maybe you could scan his tests to them to evaluate. Blood work too. Will keep all in prayer.

Man, that's the worst when your pet obviously suffers, but even the vet can't find what exactly is wrong, every pet owners nightmare Hope Wiley gets well soon!
reply

He has a pinch nerve in his back that is the problem if you go to the vet's you will fix the problem if you don't take my advice you are gonna make a mistake
reply

He maybe has fibro it causes muscle inflammation and very painful for people and animals there is no test or xray to show it under any medical test
reply

Hope Miley gets better soon. One far fetched idea might be the dog food triggering inflammation.
Test with proper quality meat for a couple of weeks.
