Bacon shouldn’t be given to dogs! They don’t have an enzyme that works on pork. I made the mistake of giving just a crumb of bacon to my now late dog and she threw up blood, called the Vet in a panic and was told bacon is a no no. Pork can give peritonitis in dogs. I was lucky I called in time. She never had bacon again not even a crumb. Please, dog owners, no pork!
