It's a beautiful thing to see people come together to save a life. All lives are just as important as the rest. I hate when people say it's just an animal. That's ridiculous. We live in an eco system and without these other living beings, we wouldn't be able to live. Imagine if someone saw you dying and thought to themselves that your life was not as important as theirs. That's just sad.

This is what the good Lord God wants from ALL of us humans. Is it too much to ask of us. No. It is not. And remember if you see any living being in distress and you look the other way and choose not to help you will never be able to forgive yourself and you will NEVER get over your guilt and shame. Truly believe me. I am living proof of that.

I once saw a hawk with same kinda issue. Took of my shirt to catch it and did basically the same thing. Fishermen need to be more cautious when predatory birds are anywhere.

A big round of applause for all of these people that stopped to help this poor bird. Without them that bird would probably have died and how sad that would be.

Fishermen I know your mama's taught you all to pick up your trash & dispose of it properly. That's just lazy! My family fishes & they leave no trace!
reply

That was God calling you to commit yourselves to helping His creatures. Good Karma on you gentlemen - please think about devoting yourselves to rescuing.
reply

So glad to be raised by Scouts: leave no trace. The fisherman who left that kit behind was no Scout. No matter how many badges his parents bought.

Love to see friends take their vacation and do something worth while! They helped these beautiful birds! Great Stuff To See! Good Job!
