Way to go, Peru!
A really good circus doesn't need animals. The practice started when seeing an elephant or a lion was a novelty, an attraction to exploit for tickets. Since then, animals have protections from most nations and aren't hunted to be kept in captivity. Breeding seems to be the way private individuals get their own lion or tiger. Zoos will breed animals that are endangered to enlarge their populations.
I love the idea of using trained domestic animals, like the cats in that Las Vegas show.

Animals circus have to be banned. Keeping Animals in cage for our personal pleasure is wrong. For anyone going to those circus, imagine if that was you in the cage for the amusement of some people. God didn't create animals for us to lock them inside a cage for our amusement.
Humans will never learn. We first did it with humans we considered lesser than us. now it's the animals. Maybe one day, we will learn, maybe.

Each of those cats probably cost between 100-250k to ship internationally. Two old, bachelor lions that will not reproduce and, as you can see, are slightly less enthusiastic than a housecat about their new.
You could have paid for an entire village in Peru to eat for literal years for the same amount of money. So, yeah. Good thinking.

I remember as a child my parents took me to a circus and as soon as they brought out the elephants I lost it and started to cry demanding to leave. I was heart broken even at a young age. I am now 57 and seeing those boys get some freedom brings tears to my eyes Knowing they will not be abused anymore.

Their hips and legs and thinness. I wonder how old they are because they appear to be seniors. I hope someone throws a big gazelle in (it died from ) for a feast. Not fed in a bowl. It's great they have a second chance, but it is extremely heartwarming to know they get to do it together.

Circuses suck! Don't go! They treat animals horribly! Please donate to ADI so they can save more furries. Thanks Dodo for this story. We like knowing what's going on with animals.

I see one has bowed back legs. are they able to give him surgery to fix it or is he pain free with his legs like that it doesn't seem to be bothering him, so I hope it's not.

Wow that was absolutely beautiful
Seeing Simba jumping for joystick special to see and knowing they will remain together, free for the rest of their days. Priceless

To be honest, I’ve never been to the circus and now I know why. I’m just glad that those lions live in a happier environment where they can take LONG naps

Wow. Simbas bowed legs. poor guy. That happens when they're cubs and not given the correct diet. Probably grew up without being able to move much. Poor guys

These brothers are glad to be free and they can do want they want to do! They BOTH deserve it! Just Beautiful To See! Love To See These BESTIES Be Free!

Thank you for saving these two amazing lions. To see them play and run wherever they want to go and seeing them act like two kittens is the best gift ever

More places need to ban circus animals, even though captivity isn’t ideal, it’s certainly a huge step up and about the best they can get.

So Glorious and Majestic, what Monsters would cage such Beauties. I'm so glad they're living a better quality of life now, they so deserve it.

You can see that one brother has a bad leg or hip. You can see it when they're walking away from your line of sight. Injury, or birth defect
reply

Poor simbe, you can feel the hip displasia and arthritis in his little hops. So glad they can life the rest of their time together and in peace
reply

Well at least the circus feed them and kept them clean! At least they did that man because caging something like this brakes my heart
reply

It's well past time to end the practice of circus animals. I would much rather see a circus with zero animals with magic and acrobatics.
