Growing up with one (or more) kitties is a wonderful thing. My parents got there first cat (just a kitten) two weeks before they got me, and, like Maisie, he spent most of his time riding the waves on my mum's baby bump. Later his mum came to live with us too, and she became my cat, following me around, sleeping on my bed, and always there to offer comfort when I needed it. Now I'm a mum, and I'm bringing up my child with kitties too. So glad that Elaia has Maisie to grow up with!

My mum found a tiny two week old kitten. A week later she found out she was pregnant with me. They always wanted a cat or a baby. Now they had both. But I had a sister. The cat really was like my sister. She died when I was 16 but we loved each other so much until the very end

Your cat reminds me of the cat I had as a teenager. Had the same colourings. Her name was Moe. She barely could meow. Your cat seems to have a great relationship with you and your baby. Enjoy.

My boy was about 10 years old when i became pregnant, and he started incubating very quickly. Always in, or wrapped around my bumps for both kids.
