I never wanted a cat, got stuck with one. I still dont want him. Its taken me a year just to get him to leave me alone. I dont play with him, I push him away, I dont pet him.
I want him to leave. I put his butt outside every night and he just won't stay gone. Ive tried to give him away, but cats are a dime a dozen and no one else wants him either. What can I do besides being cruel and starving him to get him to get the hint
I should mention, I did have a cat when I was kid, and I loved him dearly. He was fun, playful and cool. The exact opposite of this waste of fur I currently have. I wish he knew english.

My brother had a labrador. We babysat him at our place (mikes away from my brother’s home) whilst my brother was in holiday. When the dig was returned to my brother, he snuck out and walked two suburbs to get back to my father. He gad chosen my father. And what a great success that was for the next ten wonderful years

My Birman cat is like Leo. He follows me everywhere, loves to be cuddled and if I’m doing DIY around the house, he has to get involved. I even have a photo of him holding a screw for me as I was using a screwdriver, building a bed base!

Leo sounds like most of the cats that I've had. We (men) are apparently FASCINATING to watch, doing exciting activities like fixing things and making the bed. And unlike human kids, they even enjoy helping. They are real Daddy's Boys.

I moved back in with my mom after she got a TBI from moving during a snowstorm and the cat she bought before I moved in chose me. He cries every night if I don't leave my door open and sleeps on one of my arms. He's almost 3 now.

I'm a huge dog lover, and one of our dogs chose my ex to go live with when we divorced. I was more heartbroken over my dog than losing him. I still had 3 dogs, and eventually, she came back to me, but not with the ex.

I started fostering cats due to no stray dogs where I live; cats are so weird, I now have the two weirdest I could find; my life has been insane for 2. 5 years and will never be the same again. Praise God!

We had at the most seventeen cats on our farm.
I was the one who fed them so they all liked me the most. Even the male cats who rotated in and out of the different farms every year.

Cats choose their people, more than any other animal. 12yrs ago I was given a kitten but 2 months later it was very apparent that my hubby had a kitten and I was chopped liver LoL

It's pretty easy to make a cat like you. Just ignore it and they'll come to you. Generally cats don't like people who get up in their face and try to make a fuss. They can be very aloof.

Please don't spoil him with junk food; you'll both experience the terrible heartbreak of his early demise if that continues. Human grade raw diets are best, if possible.

Very heart warming. I love my cats too, once you really get to know them you find out they all have their own little personalities, they are smart and they love you back.
