The original story is good, but I personally do like Tangled more. I love how brave Rapunzel is and she is one of my favorite Disney Princesses, how sarcasticly funny Flynn Rider is, the plot is amazing, and the music is wonderful. This film will always have a special place in my heart.

A little realistic note:
Anyone having lived what rapunzel has lived would not come out unscarred, would have developed gigantic Cptsd and been incapable of forming healthy bonds with princes / princesses. Theyd most likely go on from abuse to abuse.
This is, imo, the REAL tragedy.

This is the fake story I can't believe you trust her why would mother gothel cut rapunzel's hair when her hair was so handy and if rapunzel's parents were poor then how was she a princess this is the proof that this story is not true the original movie is real good try to make us fools

Remember how many Disney tales are from Brothers Grimm. Those tales were predecessors for Mother Goose. Beauty & The Beast was originally French tale Animal Bridegroom. Once more we have no 'Happily ever after'. Cinderella in its oldest telling may be of Greek or Egyptian origin.

What is genius is that the rapunzel actually got stolen from (the garden of) the narcissist.

I think they should have kept the original tail but instead of the target audience being for kids I feel it should have Ben made for adults and teens rather then kids
