The Sad Reason Disney Princesses Have No Human Friends Disney's Forgotten Princesses Kids Don't Know About Today Some people are born into royal families, and others aren't. But, that doesn't mean that they don't have what it takes to lead a kingdom. This has been proven time and time again, as many Disney princesses have gone from rags to riches overnight. Although it's true that the majority of Disney princesses were born with a crown on their head, every single one of these ladies has a special story to tell. Whereas some princesses wish they were nothing more than common folk, others wish they could lead their country without needing a husband by their side. Disney does an amazing job at creating inspirational princesses who know their right from wrong. These characters go above and beyond to save their world and manage to succeed with a little help from their friends. If there's one thing that Disney has taught us, it's that a golden heart never fails to shine near and far. #DisneyPrincesses #DisneyRoyals #DisneyWeddings

I think Mulan shouldn't actually be counted. I mean being a hero and being a princess just isn't the same. If they want to have it other way than actually being a princess they could just name the group accordingly.
Also I would say Pocahontas is debatable. Yeah, she is chief daughter, but does chief really count as king? I mean native American mostly didn't have kings and queens (and also prince and princesses) in the way they were present in Europe, middle East, Asia (and I guess part of Africa? I'm not exactly sure about that one) and also the tribe is rather something smaller than kingdom. in the movie her tribe was shown as not much bigger than community of single village. So in a way if we count that as a princess should we also count daughters of town/cities presidents/mayors and alike?
I mean it's not totally out of the question to count Pocahontas in, but it's not so sure pick. And surely there are some princess in Disney's movies, who should have this status more than her.
Similar situation with Moana/Vaiana. For what she done she definitely is a hero of her people (and not only) but princess? I don't know.
Also Jane definitely doesn't count. Tarzan definitely can't be Elsa and Anna lost brother, even before Frozen II this theory didn't make an sense - for multiple reason - so Tarzan is not a royalty. And I doubt that being king of the jungle does count (it would be even more of a stretch than chiefs' daughters. gorillas doesn't have such things like royalty)
And my favorite princess is. Princess Sophia. She really is a great character and perhaps the greates hero of them all - she's a Protector, she freed other princess from a curse and destroyed the predecessor of all main princess movies' villains. She really earned her royal title, and at such a Young age. She is perfect embodiment of the idea of natural aristocracy.
Also I think that while Jane or Mulan shouldn't be counted (and Pochahontas and Moana are debatable) not only Sophia should be counted but also:
- Elena (princess of Avalor, freed from a curse by Sophia)
- Amber (Sophia's adoptive sister) and pretty much all princesses from Royal School
- Kida (princess and then Queen of Atlantis)
(Weird. i thought there's more of that. I have feeling I do forgot something)
Also the kingdom sleep in Sleeping Beauty wasn't (directly) caused by the curse. It was doing of Fairy Godmothers, which wanted to spare them despair of seeing what happen to Aurora, so they bond their awekening with her.

How could Tarzan be Elsa & Anna' brother when the 2nd movie showed they did NOT sail south, but North? You've got to stop taking wild theories as fact. And if you know anything about the original Tarzan stories written by Edgar Rice Burroughs, you should know Tarzan is not a Royal, but an English aristocrat.

In what world was it confirm that Tarzan is brother to Elsa and Anna? Disney never said they were plus Tarzan's parents are English while Elsa and Anna are from another country
reply

Tarzan isn't Elsa and Anna's brother because Frozen 2 destroyed the slightest possibility of that. Also, Anna is the rightful Queen now.

Oh wait I think mulan is a princess because she married a captain which was Li Shang do that I guess made her a royale princess
