Mulan is a selfless person while merida is selfish she went to witch and asked her to help her to change her mother like that she will change her fate.

She did a mistake but besides that she was annoying for me.
What is the good thing in her?
Her badass moment but she herself didn't matter to me I don't hate her but don't compare her to mulan.
Mulan has a place in my heart she is very first character I have ever tried to draw and did.
I just love her she is badass but in the same time she still acts like women even when she was a man she was still acting like a girl what hides it is her badassness she is just smart strong brave she she is a good girl.
I don't know if she is perfect usually I don't like perfect characters but her being perfect or not she still has a big large place in my heart.

The only thing that I think would put merida over mulan is that mulan retired right after the war, and probably lost some of her fighting skill sense while retired I feel like she wouldn't be training as much, while merida would be training sense she has to live basically in the wild and kill animals, so as mulan gets worse over time, Marida gets better, if you disagree go ahead and reply to this on why you think so.

Mulan's skilled but there's no way she's going to outshoot merida before she can close the gap and challenge her to a sword fight, where merida would STILL be a formidible opponent.
the only chance she has is to juke the fight and use a rocket launcher to cause a landslide like she did in the first movie

Mulan is not a princess shes a warrior gurl or woman and merida is a princess a low income one but she is. same wit Tiana not a princes but a beautiful women wit a strong self-confidence and outgoing personality and Pocahontas is a low income princess too wit same similarities as tiana

It's quite tough but in a hand to hand Mulan takes it. From a distance Merida could definitely not be beat. But overall Mulan is one of the strongest princesses.
