Dark Secrets In Sonny With A Chance That Disney Tried To Hide
Disney's Sonny With a Chance was an instant hit, but after only 2 seasons Demi Lovato left the show to get help for physical and emotional issues. Its no surprise that life starring on a teen TV show can be demanding, but the set of Sonny was on a whole other level. In a recent virtual reunion, the entire cast opened up about some backstage secrets, including how Demi felt overworked, was dealing with major selfesteem issues from having to always be on camera, and how she struggled with her eating disorder on set. Other stars like Tiffany Thornton and Sterling Knight also struggled with selfesteem issues. One cast member even left the spotlight for good after the series wrapped.
It wasnt all dark and gloomy, though. The castmates love each other, and even Demi agrees she wouldnt take back her time on the show. Hugh Disney overused Demi. Demi was having a problem with her mental health, all Disney want is money till this day so they kept pushing Demi to act until she left Sonny With A Chance to redeem herself
