SpiderMan No Way Home was a mind blowing experience that left fans with their jaws on the floor. From old villains and heroes, to intense fight scenes and amazing visuals, No Way Home had it all. But how did the filmmakers create such an amazing movie? Well, CGI was a huge help, as any quick look at behind the scenes footage will reveal a lot of blue screen. The VFX team did a wonderful job blending the practical and the animated to bring this movie to life. They did such a good job, that you may not have even realized some of the elements that were actually CGI when watching the film. What part of the bridge fight between SpiderMan and Doc Ock was real, and what was digital? And youll be surprised to learn what was actually real during the fight scene between Green Goblin and Spiderman in the apartment building. Marvel held nothing back when creating this film, and the product they put on screen is proof of their hard work and dedication to create a movie for the ages. Tom Holland had a great time working with Willem Dafoe and Alfred Molina, and discussed how they reacted to how the film industry has evolved since they first appeared as SpiderMan villains. Alfred Molina was a huge fan of the way the effects were done in this movie, and both actors were extremely impressed with the highly detailed and realistic CGI. Which scene do you think contained the most impressive digital effects? Let us know!

ok but seeing Willem and Alfred, these two old men who definitely aren't the same actors as they used to be (in the way that they've gotten older, their acting is still amazing tho, being so lively and active and still just as into their characters as they once were. that inspires me so much. i really hope to become an actor one day, and hopefully if i do i'll be able to continue acting all through my life. Willem and Alfred are my new role models

This movie was a great way to see how shit Tom Holland's spiderman is compared to the others. everything from MJ, to that dopey side kick to Flash who is not white is just painful to watch. Please, let this reboot of spiderman be done and someone bring us a new one.

It's funny when people thought that CGI would replace practical effects. I mean sure, if you want a mediocre movie. The great movies like this, understands that you get the best result from combining practical effects and CGI.

Is the comment about scene shot 3: 40 accurate. Asking because part of Homecoming was filmed in 999 Jamaica Ave Brooklyn, NY 11208 (my old highschool, a month after my graduation. The building shown is the campus building.

Im gonna need vfx artists react to explain the significance or differences between green and blue screen. I was under the impression that hour screen for whatever reason was outdated, but clearly thats not the case

I find it interesting to learn, that it is often Tom Holland in the Spiderman suit. I wonder why they didn't just use a cheaper stuntman or other agile stand-in when we can't see his face.

I do appreciate the CGI, but I will always appreciate the Sam Raimi movies for their practical effects
The fact Andrew and Tom didn't wear masks is the weirdest bit to me

I have mixed emotions about the film, there are so many typical hollywood retard moments but when the 3 spiders get on screen it was quite funny and worked surprisingly well.

The artistry of combining CGI and practical effect is amazing! It's the little detail and decision to make which scene looks great with practical or CGI effect.
