Spider-Man No Way Home CGI Vs. The Real Scene

We knew the SpiderMan: No Way Home team used a lot of CG to bring all the action to the screen, but we didnt realize only EIGHTY frames would be without any kind of CG. From the biggest of explosions, most complicated of stunts to the subtlest details, were uncovering just how significant VFX use was in this movie. All the villains that returned from other universes received some big upgrades, many thanks to the help of CGI. Alfred Molina ditched the puppet tentacles for lightweight CG arms, which Willem Dafoe got to ride multiple different glider rigs that relied on CGI removing all the mechanics. Jamie Foxx went from full CG body to partial CG body just how much of what we saw on screen was real? The days that get everyone buzzing on set involve huge explosions and practical effects. A few of the days on the SpiderMan set saw wild action, from a car being launched a hundred and fifty yards through the air to concrete pipes being smashed around. The bridge fight between Doc Ock and SpiderMan saw CGI used in major ways and for subtle details, and the team used whatever methods they needed to make sure they did justice to the scene. Shooting footage that would see Holland sporting the CGI IronSpider suit included capturing the look of a metal bust made specifically so the team could see how it reacted with the light in each scene, to have the best reference point when the CG magic took over. No matter how big or small, every CG detail was thought through and helped to complete the incredible images we see throughout the film

This is awesome but why is the quality of the videos so dark I raise the brightness on my phone and I was still having trouble with it. OK. Hopefully these guys get to see it so that it doesn't happen on the other videos

It's almost an animated movie. You might not see it all the time, but get the feeling something's off. Everything looks artificial and flat, the lightning is off. All MCU movies feel visually lifeless.

Its incredible to see Hollywood magic at work. Everything was so seamless and looked really cool. Definitely one of my favorite movies

i honestly love seeing super-hero/magic movies/tv series without CGI, it shows how random and weird the bts are.

Wait, you're telling me a radioactive spider didn't really bite tom? He can't really swing from buildings?

I really love seeing the scene prior to the effects, it must have been a little odd on set at times.
