If OJ didn’t have his celebrity status and had sleazy lawyer Robert Kardashian as part of his first trial, the jury would’ve found him guilty of both counts of murder and likely would’ve ended up dying in prison. But since he had a successful football career and was endorsed by huge companies, which was huge for the black community at the time, that made him a somebody which translates to receiving special treatment.

I was in 4th grade. My brother kindergarten when his trial was going on. I remember so many times we were watching after school kid shows when some breaking news story about his trial came about.
Upside, it got both my brother and I into forensic science and it made DNA a household word. I ended up taking a different path but my brother is now a defense attorney.

I feel like his death was a hollow victory. He is dead but so are two other people that really didn't get the full justice served. May he rot in hell. I hope this comment isn't to mean but that's how I feel about him. It's frustrating I did love the Naked Gun movies but now I can no longer enjoy watching those. not without feeling hate.

O. J. Simpson's story shows how quickly someone famous can fall from grace because of personal and legal issues. Even though he was a great athlete and actor, most people will remember him for his court cases and scandals, which really shows how fame and trouble can change how we see someone.

I’m going to miss having OJ over for Thanksgiving. No one could carve up white meat like the Juice! I just know it’s time to let his soul Rest In Peace and let go of the anger. I mean If Robert Kardashian hadn't gotten OJ off eventually one of his daughters would have.

He was acquitted because the LAPD was a group of street thugs and white supremacists back then. Even Marcia Clark admitted that fuhrman should never have become a police officer. When the police use force instead of law, things like the OJ trial happen

My dad remembers watching the infamous OJ police chase on TV in a bar in New York back in the day. He was in town for the 94 World Cup for the Ireland vs Italy game. He instantly knew OJ was guilty.

No one really cares man, only Americans so hype or concern about OJ. Only Orange Juice come up to my mind when I heard that name whenever you guys so hype about him. Da hell is wrong with Americans

When OJ was out of prison ppl would spot him fine dining in restaurants as if everything were well, fine! It made diners around him feel a bit uneasy, especially watching him use a steak knife!

The dead cannot cry out for justice. It is a duty for the living to do so for them.
Colossal failure.
Rest in Peace Nicole and Ron. Justice will be served in the afterlife.

Everyone knew that man was guilty as hell bruh smh. They just didn't want the aftermath so he got away with that i mean all the evidence was there that case was wild

OJ is a Legend and we really don’t know what happened we wasn’t there he was found innocent and white America still not over it RIP to one of the greatest

The fact OJ was Kim Kardashians godfather is just like everything else I know about the Kardashians: unwanted knowledge, sprung on me against my will.

The white people will say he got away with murder. If so, it's one black man. How many times did a white cop get away with murdering a black man
reply

I was working parking lot security at Skippers Smokehouse when the slow speed chase was broadcast over the PA.
I could scarcely believe it.

reply

after he got acquitted I said so in response to rodney king they've made it legal for black people to murder white people in L. A. county. great
reply

Hopefully the hold a celebration of his past fame so we can remember him for that and not his crimes, like Muhammad Ali minus the murder.
reply

Most people would only know OJ due to the infamous court case, and not his football or acting career. A definite controversial figure.
reply

OJ Simpson literally got away with murder on earth. However, he’s in God’s courtroom now where there is no escape if he did it!
reply

It's crazy how right when I finished watching O. J. Simpson in Family Guy, I find out he died. What are the chances of that!
