The three crazy universal ones that end an era basically with Frankenstein meets the wolf man, house of Frankenstein & house of Dracula, which all tie together is a lot of fun
Someone is definitely going to want psycho 2
By virtue of including a sci-fi action flick (aliens, predator 2 is definitely on the table
Also since some people consider it horror (not me) blade 2 and hellboy 2
I also imagine someone will have to say return of the living dead 3 but we all know unless it’s personal taste it’s definitely not top 10 ever.

The Silence Of The Lambs could technically be on this list as it’s technically a sequel to Manhunter.
Aliens is a fantastic sequel but Aliens isn’t really a Horror movie, it’s more of a Sci-fi Action.
The original Alien is a Horror but the sequel took the Horror elements away. In the Alien franchise Aliens and Prometheus are not Horrors, but all the rest are Horrors.

Anyone who thinks Halloween 2018 is better than the original sequel and storyline, needs to get their heads checked. The whole trilogy was complete garbage. Halloween (1978, Halloween II and H20 are far superior in EVERY aspect and remain the true sequels

I agree with most of this list, BUT Dawn of the Dead (1978) is HANDS DOWN the BEST and most Influential Horror Sequel, even though Aliens is the BEST Horror Hybrid movie ever (Mix of Horror, Action, and Sci-Fi.

Fun fact: during the filming of Aliens, sigourney Weaver tried to avoid the set when the alien queen puppet was not in character in order to stay scared of it and get a better performance out of herself.

Okay let's not confuse the Halloween timelines though. Halloween 2018 was a direct sequel to Halloween 1978 and in that film, Michael Myers wasn't Laurie's brother. So there's that.
