Brad, I can't imagine what went through your head when that girl in your anecdote came into your salon with a similar bleachfail job. I've never corrected one THAT bad but I've had some pretty omg-wow-that'sshitty fix jobs and good gracious they are a pain in the ass.
THE ONLY TIME starting at the roots with virgin hair is ok is if, say, you just want colored roots a la Billie Eilish a couple years ago. (Even then I suggest going to a salon if you've never done it at home before.

Wait if purple hair girl works a starbucks then wouldnt she get in trouble because they dont let people with fashion colored hair work for them? I really hate that stereotype. What my hair is fun colors so therefore I cant be professional or intelligent? What is the reasoning behind that? Most stereotypes have a reason like how cats dont like water. Thats not true for all cats but its common enough for the stereotype to make sense. But cool hair, tattoos and funky nails make you unprofessional? Why? So rude

This is actually what happend to me I had splat and it looked like a purplish pink color it faded after a month and I decided to go to my natural hair color when I was a kid and thats blonde, well my hair had other plans and it lightened up but my hair was pink still Ive looked this up pink and red are the hardest colors to get out

Brad you're always intrigued by the vitamin c and clarifying shampoo. You need to do a show where you test it out. I swear by it. But it's best when used immediately after dying hair to remove excess dye. I also use it to remove green hair after using ash dye!

As someone with super fine hair and salon-done hot pink, this video made me so happy!
When I did try to do a mermaid moment, the pink would NOT come out, even at the salon. XD
But now we're back to pink and it just suits me so well.

Whenever I watch these I imagine if you could just buy a shit ton of bleach and mix it up and put it in a big bucket and just lean back into it and saturate your whole head not like thats realistic but I always think about it lol

Omg the chick at the end is literally me. My mom is a hairstylist yet I prefer to do it myself, I can bleach my hair over and over and it refuses to fall off and amy color always turns out good

I've actually had success with the vitamin c stripping method, but with repeated applications. It's SUPER drying though so if you get it make sure you use a good mask afterwards!
