I had hair about that long and at least double the thickness, no joke, and I'm 5'11, and I was sitting on it. I cut off about 18 inches and it was still at my bra band, and I got an undercut from an inch below my crown, in a triangle, so the entire back of my ear, the hair is gone. Lol. It is so much easier to deal with, and I can't believe how much weight, and heat was trapped under there. Approx once a week when I'm out, I get compliments on my hair and how thick and healthy it is, seriously, then I show them the undercut. Lol.

I can sympathize with a person who doesn't want to spend money at the beauty shop, but couldn't these women find a friend, cousin, mother or aunt to help them cut their hair following some directions from a knowledgeable person (such as Brad Mondo?
At least the other person can see the back of the head. I know I know, these are young women, but to me they seem like neglected kids.

I have roughly the same amount of hair as the second girl. And yes maintaining it is a struggle. I take about a hour washing and 2 1/2 hours blow drying or a day of air drying. Like it is beautiful and all but not worth it. So awhile ago I chopped off 15 or so inches and I love it. I literally weighted myself before and after and lost 7 pounds from chopping that much hair.

I hate these videos. Long hair is so beautiful. So many people can't grow long hair and then there are people like you who treat it like it's disgusting! Why do hair dressers think all hair should be short! There is sooooo much more you can do with it when it's long! It takes real talent to do long hair!

I have the same length hair as the second girl and it isnt as hard as you think to take care of it but it can be hard/tiring when doing a hair style even if its as simple as a ponytail because it takes quite some time for all the hair to go through the band that your hands start to ache

At the begining of quarantine I chopped off so much of my hair. It was to my waist (when straightened cause I have curly hair) and then I chopped it to above my shoulders. then my younger sister yelled at me for not waiting for her to come help me cause i did a terrible job.

Not sure if it's still a regulation but if you're a smoker make sure you research where to donate your hair before cutting if that is your only reason for cutting because they may not accept hair from smokers. Just a tip from personal experience. Best of luck to all.

2 years ago I cut off 11in of hair and was planning on donating but my parent told me it wasnt long enough before then I had done research and some organizations accepted 6in of hair so I was confused and ended up throwing the hair away

I had 18 in cut off my hair and I cried cuz I told her 8in and she took off 18in and I said I wanted to donate 8in and here I got home and my verband fell off when I took it out of the bag and couldn't donate it anyway what a waste

You may want to let your viewers know if they're going to donate their hair to make sure it's not bleached and killed with too much chemical product because bleached hair is dead hair and that doesn't do anyone any good.

I have a hip lenght hair and its so hard to live with it hahah if i dye it wih box dys it takes me 3 boxes in a thin coat gahahha really and not to mention the amount of conditioner there is being used hhh
