I feel the 2nd girl. I got the long hair I wanted (longer than 3rd girl, but it's just so. damaged. It feels like straw, matts ups, and doesn't shine. It only looks nice the first day after a shower. Natural hair, never been dyed, always air dried. It happens every time my hair gets to a certain length. My hair gets so fried during sleep. I'll go to bed with healthy feeling hair and wake up with crunchy tangled, straw hair. I only recently started wearing bonnets (can't get them to stay on yet) and using leave in conditioners, but I feel like it's too late. Might be one of these girls soon lmao.

Cut 17 off last year, using Brad's tutorial and hair cutting scissors, but cut it dry because the ends were so damaged that i couldn't actually straighten my hair while it was wet.
Since it brought my length all the way up to the bottom of my shoulder blades, i got a little crazy and had it professionally dyed blue three months later. I'm so in love with fashion colors now!

I went almost my whole life never wanting short hair and loving long hair on everyone else as well. however, in the last 5 years I've been chopping mine off (wolf cut is my fave) and it's very freeing. The maintenance is less and also the styling i can do without the weight of long hair. Loved seeing these girls go for it!

As someone who absolutely hates cutting my hair because I feel like my long hair is part of what defines me, I felt Brad when he kept pausing the video to say STOP lol. I was right there with him saying STOP CHOPPING IT OFF GIRL

I LOVE a wet cut. Years ago when I was wearing a pixie, one person did it wet and the others said AA hair can't be cut wet. Umm. yes it can! It makes the pixie so precise and sharp. I just let my hair grow instead of arguing with people who don't know how to do a wet cut.

I shaved my head in summer 21 and it was a HUGE mistake. I forgot that I needed to shower every day with short hair (I mean wash my hair everyday) which was BAD for my scalp yeah never again. Short hair? Maybe again when I m in my fourties. But not now again.

I'd like to say something like 'wow crazy' but I've DONE the same thing - chopped my hair a LOT. It's thick, and grows really fast and I get fed up with it, so yeah. loads of us do this crap to a greater or lesser degree. BTW - Brad outfit on point again today.

Ah don't do this to me, Brad! I really, really want to cut my hair and this video is not helping right now haha. Just dyed it green and I'm still not satisfied with it. The only thing stopping me right now is that I do not own hair cutting scissors.

Wigs for kids instead of locks of love. They don't charge for their wigs. Locks of love charges the person on need of the wig for their wig of donated hair. so don't send you hair to them. There are many other better companies.

There's an organization called Children With Hair Loss that you can donate bleached or chemically treated hair to! They also only require 8 inches of hair. I've donated to them twice and will donate to them again next time.

Locks of Love accepts dyed and permed hair. They don't accept bleached hair. Per their site: The bleach causes the hair to dissolve as it goes through the manufacturing process. Note: Many times highlights are done with bleach.
