I love this haircut! I tried it once, the next time my hair needed a trim, I went to Walmart hair place. The lady did what I asked ( a trim with layers) but I couldn't stand the bulkiness after doing the butterfly myself. So I gave it a few weeks and gave myself another butterfly. I love the way it makes my hair look longer but removes a lot of the bulk and weight. Thank you Brad!

I did the butterfly cut on my adult son last night. He had mosh pit long hair.
I did all the things, it worked out great and he loves it. He's usually fussy, hard to please, and moody so I must have done something right if he was ok with it.

To get that high ponytail on very long/thick hair, just secure the front, then bend over and brush/comb the rest forward and secure.

That was as close to perfect as I've ever seen anyone follow his tutorial she did great, just needs a little trimming!
