Is Builder in a Bottle a Soak Off Gel?

Today Im going to show you how to remove the new product from the nails. Im going to break the seal of the top coat with an 80 grit file and remove all of the top coat. Im then going to soak lint free pads in acetone, and wrap them around the nail with foil. Leave for 10 minutes and then flake off anything thats removed. Use a softer file to file away the excess. Make sure to rehydrate the nail and the skin with cuticle oil

Help please I'm having an issue when I put gel top coat on, it lifts at the edges. I don't know if I'm flooding the nail or going to close to my skin. but it lifts after a couple of days but only at the sides and near my cuticle. Thanks in advance. And I also make sure I prep and prime correctly it's just the top coat.

I never have to worry about taking gel off. I have such naturally oily nail beds that it falls off after just a couple days. Acrylic nails normally only hold up for about two or three weeks at the most because of the same problem no matter how good the prep, dehydrator and primer are.

Hi I have a questionIve been doing my own nails (gel polish) and noticed after I soak off the polish my nails are paper thin and feel a bit scratched (I use a very soft file to take the gel polish off)Is it normal? I do everything like you showed am I doing something wrong?

Kirsty, in my country we cannot buy pure acetone. Theres only a solution made with acetone and other stuff, it is used to remove nail polish. Do you think that this mixture would work to soak off the builder? Because the concentration of acetone in it is rather small.

I once had a manicure and the tech asked if i wanted to try a gel clear coat. It was remarkable, for a week, then it looked so damn ugly i attempted to remove it like this. And NEVER AGAIN It tooks hours. i change my nail color too much to ever use gel again.

Weird question; could you put the builder gel over acrylic? Like how you had that broken nail on your other hand, you put acrylic over it, then could you put builder gel on top of that or would you just go straight in with the builder gel over that broken nail?

I use silicon caps to soak off, theres obviously the initial payout for them, but they work out cheaper in the long run. Plus I find them less fiddly to use, especially on myself other than that, I do the exact same

Where I live in NY, after they file the top coat & wrap them in acetone like you show in the video, they put a warm wet towel over my hands & it takes less time for the product to break down & file away.

I always soak off with that method, I also do that with nail oil to rehydrate my nails when feeling dry. Thank you for sharing your experience, knowledge & tips. xx

What can I do if I have adhesion issues? Ive prepped nails as best I could but I find they still lift, and when I soak they literally just pop off like glue on nails.
