Pringles are hyperbolic paraboloids that took 2 years to design! Their intersecting double curvature doesn't promote crack propagation, hence the extra crunch of pringles. They were also an optimal shape for stacking and strength within their tube, no need to inflate a bag 70% with air to keep the poatatos safe.

Cool of you to reference HR Giger, I used to live next to him. His garden was full of fantastical, eerie creations, including a whole mini rideable horror train that went through his garden, touring around his exhibitions!

I gotta ask, Adam (#8, what are you gonna do with all that food now that you've bought it for the video? Are the Raguseas having an insert sugary cereal here feast every morning for the next month or so?
reply

I may have been skeptical of a lot of what my hippie adoptive family said, but I'll always be grateful for their cooking; they showed me there was more to food than just salty or sugary.

This was GREAT. We usually don't think of our foods in such a simple way. We are eating seeds. Seed Paste. Thanks for Sharing Adam! As always informative and entertaining.

AD: No need to buy everything in large quantities and waste some of them.
Adam: Yeah, I bought half of the supermarket to put them under a microscope.

I bet little kid Adam would have been thrilled if he knew he'd get paid to look at food under a microscope and make videos about it as an adult.

From now on, I will refer to these snacks in the most verbose ways. For example, I would say MSG lathered triangular wheat paste for Doritos.

Whole wheat bread. Draws out sloppy saggy quboid thing which has no similarity to real bread and is most probably not made of whole wheat
