Ribeye with board dressing

Ribeye with board dressing

This is the best-tasting steak I have ever been able to produce in my in-door home kitchen with normal, grocery-store beef. It's a ribeye, roasted in the pan with butter and garlic, and then sliced and tossed with a peppery board dressing. My method keeps all of the gross sinew and big hunks of un-rendered fat typical of a ribeye from ever arriving at the table. And, in one of my more unorthodox techniques, I keep the rested, sliced steak from going cold by serving it on a microwaved plate. I'm not a professional cook, just a monkey with a camera, but I am damn proud of this recipe and I think it'll probably work well for you. Let me know how it goes if you try it

Hey there. If you decide to read this and plan to make this recipe, that's good. Thing is that I'd suggest to not microwave your plate like he says in the video. It could damage your microwave. Try running it under hot water for a minute on each side. There's even a video this same guy did that explains this more in depth

Im a little confused. I have always heard that microwave ovens works by agitating the water molecules found in food and beverages and thus creating heat. The plate doesnt have water molecules in it? How can it get hot? And also that you shouldnt turn it on empty because you risk damaging it.

You, during the New York Pizza video: I tried putting the pizza on the chopping board that takes on a flavor of the dishwasher, which is gross. You, in this video: makes a chopping board dressingEdit: Oh man. I've never expected to get 68 likes.

pro tip: instead of just microwaving the plate, pour a little water on the plate and then microwave for 15-20 seconds. The plate gets even hotter in this short amount of time, and when you are done you can take a towel and dry the water.

I like chewing on the sinew/fat cap. Us black people call it grizzle. I wouldnt suggest swallowing it as your a likely to choke, but the flavor is in incredible and since I dont have a dog. Im going to chew on my beefy gum grizzle sinew

Thanks for this recipe The only thing not good for you in this recipe is the vegetable oil you included Live well and eat good food PS the off-cuts are great to save for making broth/stock, but don't tell my cats I said so.

Dogs should not eat the fat. They can get severe pancreatitis which can be fatal. Also, the fat is one of the most savory parts of the steak for da humans. No way thats getting cut off. Thumbs up for the board seasoning method though.

What? Shaving off the fat and gross stuff that no ones going to eat anyway? If you werent planning on eating the fat then you dont know how eat. The best part. Cut it into pieces to accompany bites of the leaner eye

Adam be like: So i make my chocolate milk. But before that. I season my cup with a pinch of aalt and WHOLE load of pepper because i like the _pungent_ smell and that _r o a s t e d_ peppery flavor on my milk

Um, no its not perfect for the dog. Garlic kills dogs, and I wouldnt feed my dog a garlic butter basted steak. Maybe after boiling the pieces or washing the pieces thoroughly, but definitely not just like that.
