Lol 1 cup at 5pm would keep you up to 3am? Talk about light weight. I had to drink 8 cups worth of coffee through mid-late afternoon to stay awake for dinner and a little past that. I did get a reaction to that amount of caffine at 7-8pm and it wasn't pleasant, but I still fell asleep at around 9pm give or take 30m

Y'all are grinding your coffee fresh every day and I'm over here drinking expired ground coffee 'cause I ain't throwing that money out. I just use a keurig. Fast, hands off, single cup delivery, and I don't need to budget time in the morning to stand there with a pot of boiling water trying to not burn myself.

I do the brwon sugar thing too with cappuccino. I sprinkle the sugar on top of the milk steamed I eat all of that with a spoon and then I drink the rest. It's a religious ritual for me. Drinking it otherwise is just not as great.

[in regards to 9: 40] fun fact boiling water doesnt burn the beans the coffee beans roast at much higher temps than 100C/212F so the water temp isnt going to do much: ) James Hoffman has a great video on this

Chris would be horrified with my coffee skills. In the Southeast of Brazil (aka Rio) we also drink Mate, but a cold version made with burnt erva mate so it's kinda more like black tea than green tea?

When I was in New York I drank their coffee and it was horrible with a capital H, then I tried starbucks and it was bad as well. americans do not know how to make coffee
