Sommelier Tries 20 White Wines Under 15

Sommelier Andr Mack is back to do what he does best: taste wine. We asked him to try twenty bottles of white wine under 15 and let us know his honest thoughts on them. Not all of these wines are worth your money, but there are some diamonds in the ruff. Tom: I desperately want to see this guy blind taste test wines at different prices and see if he can guess the price. I'm very skeptical that there is any sort of correlation between price and quality in the wine world. It's entirely psychological. Buying an expensive wine will make you think that it tastes better.

I love these videos, and he has some great advice on choosing wines. That said, here in Utah where wine is only available through the State Liquor Store, of the wines mentioned in this video we have access to: Barefoot, Cupcake, Kendall-Jackson, and Yellow Tail. That's it. And of course, they're all just a bit more expensive because of the required markup. The Kendall Jackson is 17. 99. I would love to see more of these videos that showcase some good wines that I could actually buy. Maybe that's a lot to ask, though.

Fantastic! What an engaging, informative vid! This guy made me understand wine and what I am smelling and tasting in an uncompromising yet non-intimidating way. More of him! More experts breaking down food and drink like this!

Rayburn Chardonnay is usually on sale for less than 15. Case price is 13+. Raeburn compares favorably with wines at twice the price. Beautifully balanced wine. Don t waste your time looking any further.

I feel like as cool as this is to watch, it doesn't really help me figure out if this is a bottle I'd enjoy to drink. Though maybe I'm also someone who just doesn't like traditional wines enough.

There's no prosecco region, you soon after show in the graph that it's produced in several italian provinces. Being relatable doesn't mean you have to be inaccurate.

You people are actually doing the, 'x-person tries y', reaction trope? Dang, they cancelled you hard. Looking forward to some first person titles coming up soon.

They should definitely taste chilean wines, for a while they have been on par if not better overall than french. There is definitely many hidden gems there.

Can you guys please invest in a tripod? The video is shaking all over the place. It made the overall video very unpleasant to watch.
