I'm not saying I don't LOVE gingerbread, because I deffo do but sometimes I want a cookie which is a little bit different but just as good for cutting out and decorating and these Cranberry & Clementine Cut-Out Cookies (CCCCs) are just the ticket Recipe - 410g plain flour 1. 5 tsp baking powder 1. 5 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp salt zest of 2 clementines, satsumas, tangerines etc 40g dried cranberries, chopped really finely 225g unsalted butter, soft 190g caster sugar 60g cream cheese 1 lg free range egg 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Delicious. I made some changes, I used orange zest instead of tangerine just because currently in Bolivia (December/summer) tangerines are not available. I also added 2 TBS og grounded almond. Easy to roll out dough. Mine were tender rather than crunchy. What I enjoy the most while baking was the smell in my home, AMAZING. Thanks for coming up with the recipe.

Excellent Christmasy combo, Jenna Many thanks Whenever I use citrus zest, I always zest over the sugar and rub the peel into the sugar 'cause that's how my grandma does it. I think maybe because of the abrasiveness of the sugar crystals -- they break down the larger pieces of zest and retain all the oils that aren't so volatile as to evaporate.

Could you use all butter instead of butter and cream cheese because I made cookies with cream cheese in them once and they were absolutely disgusting They just tasted like cheese but were hard and sweet and slightly eggy it was just wrong.

You need to do something about your face. Fake some happiness or something. The recipe seems good but you are hard to watch. You probably have really shitty personality but you can fake it like Martha Stewart did back when she was on TV.

Cookies or biscuits? Those definitely don't look like what I've always called cookies (chocolate chip. So what's the british definition after all(if you're from the US, stay out of this one, haha)

Wow. So pretty, I could never bring myself to take that first bite. I'll take comfort in knowing that when I make them, they won't be half as pretty so I won't feel so bad: . I bet they taste great too.
