Hey Jemma I'm making the Malteser cupcakes from your cake book but some of the quantities are different from the cupcake video you uploaded and there is no vanilla extract in the book version. The butter should also be 10 grams less than what is in the book, basing it off doubling the quantities in the video. Should I follow the book or the video recipe? Sorry, I don't mean to sound like a pain I adjusted it & I'm baking them based on the video version & hopefully they turn out ok I'm not happy with my first batch I'm sure it's something I did wrong, I'm sorry

I'm drooling I love Maltesers and I love cake so this is perfection The Maltesers around the outside look so cool. I made a Nutella and Maltesers cake for my Dad's birthday cake a few years ago (chocolate sponge, Nutella buttercream and Maltesers outside) and we both thought it looked like a Dalek. We exterminated that cake

Wow This looks amazing. Btw, I have one question. Will the cake be very soft even if it's not done using cut and fold method after adding the flour? You always beat it even after adding the flour, but some people say it might make the cake hard. Is it true? :)

Im sorry but this is a seriously out of date cake I baked this like three years ago its a great cake but since then Ive turned it into a birthday style cake and made cupcakes too. Its way out of fashion its a has been not an up and coming.

Too much dough, too little cream in the American cakes. Please look up some other ways to make cakes, the proportion of the thickness of the dough and filling needs to be almost the opposite. You are welcome: )

What ever happened to Cadbury's 'Bournvita'? That was a delicious malt drink which came in granular form supplied in a cylindrical cardboard tub? Haven't seen it for years. :(: (: ( Off topic, I know. Sorry
