I absolutely detest bacon coated in a thick layer of brown sugar, disgusting. In reality I think I have to stick with the plain old fashioned BLT made with a good quality bacon, lettuce, ripe garden fresh tomatoes with a good spreading of Hellmann's mayonnaise on each slice of toasted bread. Don't mess with perfection.
But between these two I have to go with Joanne's.

If the ciabatta bread had been smeared with mayo and placed on a pan it would have browned the inside nicely and also the steam would have softened the buns for a better texture.

I hate ciabatta bread too. Hawaiian bread is sold in loafs that's my choice of bread for a BLT. Go Tia I'm going to have to try & make your BLT. But, on Hawaiian bread.

The bread isn't the issue so we will not talk badly about ciabatta bread because its freakin delicious -----but I would put all of joanna's stuff on the ciabatta roll

I would substitute the pork bacon for beef bacon. Don't eat pork. Everything that Tia did was nice. Don't really care for the bread choice either.

This is actually hard only because idk about anyone else but when I think about a BLT I don-t think of my bacon to be sweet in any way

I would take bread #2 and use that instead of the bread on #1. Keep everything else the same on #1 and you have the perfect sandwich.

Ciabatta bread is the best. I have no idea what kind of rock solid ciabatta bread these peeps have had, but I feel sorry for them.
