Thanksgiving is the best holiday. At least, in my opinion. Why? Because it's centered around dinner-and not just any dinner, mind you. THE BEST DINNER EVER. There's mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, cranberries, and, of course, the thing that ties all those delicious sides together-the TURKEY! A good turkey means a good Thanksgiving, and a bad turkey means you'll probably never be allowed to host the holiday again. That's why we take our turkey recipes very seriously here at Delish. Absolutely no dry, flavorless, pale turkeys allowed. We strive for golden, flavorful, juicy birds, and we will settle for nothing less. In our quest to find turkey recipes suitable for the big day, we turn to two of our favorite chefs: Jamie Oliver and Snoop Dogg. What? You didn't know Snoop was a chef! Well, he recently came out with a cookbook (From Crook To Cook) and we're kind of obsessed with it. The two chefs took very different approaches, leading to some crazy delicious results. Read on to see who we dubbed King Of The Turkey. FULL RECIPES

I would buy Snoop's book in a heartbeat! I find it weird that Chrissy's chicken had a compound butter, yet they said Ina's chicken with just salt and pepper tasted better? And Chissy roast chicken in teh other video was not browned at all.

Any chefs out there, could you answer this question please. What purpose does it serve to put the herbs inside the turkey (such as how Jaimes recipe does) rather than like season the actual turkey meat or skin itself?
