Making pasta from scratch is really impressive; and luckily, it's also really easy. On this episode of You Can Do This, Clifford Endo makes pasta carbonara using only a kettle, a water bottle, a paper cutter, and ingredients sourced from within a block radius of the Eater offices. Interviewer: I see here on your resume that you were only with SC&P inc. for about a month. Care to elaborate why so short a time? Recruit: Boss objected to me making home made fettuccini in his Breville. I dirtied his Klean Kanteen also.

To learn how to misuse more of your stuff at work. Love it. Actually great carbonara too. I'm hoping to see comments from Italy complaining that you didn't use guanciale. Next, maybe high heat wok stir fry at the office?

i wonder, if you actually decided to do this in an office out of nowhere, how would your co-workers react and how do you convince your boss to not fire you before you even finished cooking?
reply

how to get everyone in the office especially the brits and the italians to hate you. Seriously don't abuse the poor kettle like that CLIFFORD WHY DOES MY TEA TASTE OF FLOUR AGAIN?

Hey boss? That weird Jim guy is cooking in the office kitchen again. yeah he's using the paper cutter to cut dough. I think he's making fresh pasta in the kettle?

Every time I hear someone say carbonara, I think of The Sims, with the goopy carbonara Lol. His cooking skill must be max, since he didnt set the office on fire.

I work in front of house at a restaurant, where the heck would I be able to get all of this stuff to make pasta! We don't have a kettle or a paper cutter.
