The past 6 months Ive been in a really bad placeboth psychologically and physically. Ive dealt with relentless emotional and verbal abuse as well as a chronic disease. One of the ways Ive tried to numb and distract myself is through the internet. One day while spending hours online I found your videos. I was immediately struck by your engaging, curious, and compassionate personality and character. The way your mind and heart work in unison is truly inspiring: you think deeply but you care deeply too. The humanity that you bring to each interpersonal interaction is astounding and seems to deepen your experience of the food too. The people around me in these past few months have been none of those things that you and your work represent. In them Ive seen cruelty, greed, and narcissism. As time goes by, sometimes its been hard to remember that there are people out there who dont share the same values. Watching your videos has given me hope.

Westchester isnt a neighborhood in Miami, its practically its own city-community and is located south of Sweetwater (a city) and west of West Miami (another city. As a born and raised resident of the actual city of Miami its tiring hearing tourists call every place south of county line road Miami. Its ignorant and drastically undercuts the actual people who live there and takes away from what business theyd have to promote. My family has been here since the 30s.

She and her husband have been married 35 years and when they first met and he asked her if she would go to Arbetters for lunch with him she said yes and he said that was awesome because it wasn't that expensive. For many women that would have been offensive. A sign that he was a cheapskate and that she wasn't worth a fancier place to him. It would have been the first and last date. But for her it was the beginning of a 35 year marriage.

This place in Miami, FL is a rarity. Way too many fast food places are completely devoid of any personality or soul. Helping the community where you get your business was priceless. Miami certainly gets its share of Hurricanes like any community along the coastal areas of this Nation.

You don't get this scenario anymore? You're telling me relationships with customers doesnt happen anymore? Why do middle aged people always live in their little bubble of the good old days is when everything was good and now everyone is mean and antisocial its the opposite of the truth

I love this kind of place! Where you can get a simple, hearty meal, and have the same experience you had as a kid. (Also, I miss my old chili dog place. The restaurant chain still exists, but the one I lived in in high school is now a parking lot. It's not the same)

I love onion rings. .. but they give you so little in a non-fast food restaurant. I remember going one place it cost me 6 (USD) and I got like 6 onion rings. .. big ones with real onions but only 6: ( I wish I was good a making fried foods but I not.

That kitchen is very dirty. I don't understand it. A camera comes into your kitchen and none of them thought: hhhmmm maybe we should remove all those nasty hard fries or clean those nasty sauce trays. Like the food but please clean that kitchen!

Looks good, but jeez you need to use some better, more appetizing descriptors instead of: Fake, processed, plastic, etc. we all know what you mean, but it doesn't do a lot for the place you're reviewing to use those kinds of words.

You think they would've cleaned up a bit knowing a segment on youtube is going to be done on their restaurant. When the staff were eating while Lucas was ordering in plain sight, it shows the lack of care.
