I've been to one of these crab boil places. Because of the seasonings, all of the fried stuff tastes the same. All of the steamed stuff tastes the same, etc. etc. etc. Their bag boils are just, meh! I'd like to go to one of these places (3 where I live) where they do a drawn butter portion, a cajun seasoning portion and a garlic portion separately but charge you for 1 order and not make you pay ala carte. Because if I wanted my lobster tasting like my shrimp, I could throw it into the same pot and do it myself at home.

There is no end to the gluttony that is possible (2: 08. You sure are living up to those words. I get that Eater is trying to feel out what the audience may or may not like. That's fine. But this show's formula just isn't that good. If you want to showcase an entire menu, have the host speak with the restaurant owner and go over what the restaurant has to offer instead of taking one bite of everything and leaving the audience to assume all the wood is wasted.

So he speed reviewed everything but did none of them justice. What a waste of food, he literally took one bite of each thing and said it was good while barely describing it. Why didn't he just order their most popular items then do a detailed review on why anyone should bother to go there?

Wait. what is so wrong with this guy. sounds to me someone is hating on this man and some of their friends are coming along for the ride. IDK but its not that bad and it seems strange how EVERYBODY dislikes the video. its not that bad. Watch your back somebody is coming for your spot.

Boiling Crab was honestly pretty awful. Maybe that's because I am Korean and prefer more traditionally Asian style seafood, but I thought the crawfish wasn't worth eating, the shrimp was overcooked, and everything was too messy to be anything more than glorified bar food.

Why is everyone freaking out about this video? Yes, it's The Boiling Crab. it's not fine dining and doesn't need much explanation. Yes, it's gluttonous. So what? Nobody eats here everyday. The host was fine. stop being so pretentious

This has to be the most annoying host ever. No one cares about your cheesy jokes. Look at almost every other good foodie vid: it's people being themselves and eating. This guy is just fake energy and disgusting table manners.

i dont get this idea of eathing the whole menu. he just ends up saying some short phrase before taking the bite. most of them has little to do with the flavor of the food. i really just dont get thesr videos

Eater, most of your other content is excellent, so did not expect this from you guys. This is a serious dip in quality as compared to your usual high standards. Less videos like these please.
