Asadaya Ryokan serves a renowned breakfast in Kanazawa, Japan. To note: Rerelease with improved subtitles Vass: Is it just me or does the michelin guide hand out stars to sushi restaurants more easily because they 're hip. Don't get me wrong, i do realize that you pay for the whole experience of a japanese diner, but you cant convince me that a non-japanese restaurant can earn a star with a two-fruit dessert or skewered chicken (referring to another yakitori joint i've seen on eater. Not hating, just making an observation

This breakfast has its price, and not only for those who have a lot of money because it also needs a lot of time for you to be able to consume it all. I think it should not take less than 2 hours for preparation and consumption.

as much as it looks amazing and I bet tastes awesome, for me it would be a bit overkill. Tho my best ever Japanese breakfast I had is simple bowl of rice, miso soup, some fish, tomago omelet, natto plus some veggies.

The chefs presentation is lovely and so precise. Sidenote: Did anyone think of Juntao from Rush Hour 3 when they saw the first guy talking, or was it just me?
