This is beautiful and brings back childhood memories. I remember visiting Pakistan as a five year old and me and a little boy who Im told was our neighbours relative would visit them often and wed play together. Wed get clay from a nearby place. It was beautiful. like a micro Grand Canyon. Wed climb down into the pit and scrape the clay off with our bare hands. It was a beautiful grey colour and felt smooth and velvety in my hands. He taught me to make little clay hens and then wed dry them in the sun. They were so precious to us. This is one of the most beautiful memories I have of my childhood and I will cherish it forever.

Ceramisist here: This is basically the hipster version if a normal factory. They produce a very, very low quantity and the quality isnt better than any other normal and their production technices are pretty dumb. For example the plexiglas thing. Any ceramics has quartz in it, some plastic will get grind off over time and ruin the shape, since quartz is one of the hardest minerals known. Basically: Hipster company that can only survive thanks to the good talking and having the right customer. They'd be dead on the real market.

I am a starting potter. I am just selling what I make at farmers markets till my throwing and firings are consistent. I like making pots cups and bowls. I have been wondering about plates and making them. The mold with the plexiglass is a great idea Ill have to get around to making one. I love making the simple and functional yet elegant items. Hopefully by 2021 I can open an online store.

I think this man is absolutely fascinating! I wish more people would do something like this. I believe that every person on the face of the planet should be able to make two things exceptionally well. Something besides cooking. I love stoneware, because (in my experience) it never breaks.

I have 1 handmade bowl half pink half white, I bought it at a thrift store and I don't know why but words cannot explain how much I love that bowl. I love the colors, love the shape, even washing the bowl makes me happy. I wish I could buy more, my mom thinks I'm mental.

I couldn't care less about clay and moulding, basically anything in this video, BUT, this guy is so knowledgeable and passionate and the product so beautiful, that this video was amazingly interesting and a new perspective into something so mundane. Bravo!

Why YT recommends every video about Michelin-restaurants? Is that so I can order a 200 bag stuffed with fine-dining food delivered to my door or truly fall into despair and eat another pre-frozen pizza.

This artisan's forming technique with plexiglass is fire! This piece made me miss my college studio; I know exactly what he means about the smell of a kiln! Thoroughly enjoyed this interview.
