Hi Emma! I know you posted this a long time ago but I-m going to make this for my Dads birthday and just wanted some advice on the cake layers. -The recipe for the chocolate cake makes 2 layers do I half the recipe a second time to make the third layer? And if so do I cook the 3 layers at the same time at the same temp and time? If I separated them and did 2 and then 1 what time and temp would I cook the single layer for? -Thanks, Steph!

I tried this cake few days ago and it came out very moist and soft but the problem I got was after getting it out of the refrigerator the cake was a bit hard due to butter as I live in a hotter country I can't keep it room temperature I wanted to ask if I could replace some of the butter with oil so that it didn't become too hard when ready to serve plz guide waiting for your reply

For being a more -complicated- cake than your other recipes, this recipe still looks so simple. Somehow youmake anything you do look so great, simple, and delicious. hey emma! -Emma'sGoodies- i really need ur help. i have a smaller microwave at my place n i cnt cook 3 cake pans at one go. please would you help with some suggestions. also plz share a lesser portion of ingredients for lesser amount of cake. tysm. i loved ur dis cake n i surely wud make it! ------

i don't think i have ever seen a more delicious looking black forest cake. and i'm German x) (not that we have it often here in Germany, at least i don't, i've eaten it maybe 3 times in my whole life but nvm it looks delicious nonetheless)
