I thought this was related to our Fiesta. In San Antonio, TX, it's Fiesta right now, which is a city-wide celebration commemorating the heroes of The Alamo and the Battle of San Jacinto. Its a display of San Antonio's rich, diverse culture with so many events happening throughout the city for both family and adults. We have a big parade, a carnival, concerts, etc. It lasts multiple days and it's so popular that some local businesses give employees the day off for the the parade. I work in hospital and the census has been so low these past two days cuz everyone is out partying and having family time, no one has time to feel sick: )

Why do people keep risking injury using a knife to remove the avocado pit? If the Avocado is ripe just give the half with the pit a gentle squeeze and the pt will pop out. Just like a blackhead. lol

I have the problem with shrimps. They are full of parasites from dirty farming. I like the texture and taste but, not safe to eat.
