This creamy, Cajun-spiced Chicken Lazone is incredibly delicious, and seems very fancy, but is actually simple to make, and needs almost no prep at all. Adapted from a famous New Orleans dish by Chef Lazone Randolph of Brennan's, it may be one of the easiest chicken dishes we've ever posted.

This is a classic and now that I think about it, it's surprising Chef John hasn't done a video on this one until now. Better late than never, because this is actually a very good dish.

What kind of chili powder did you use I often get confused by this since when I go to the store to buy chili powder it's really some sort of spice blend with garlic, oregano, etc.

I'll make this and add scallops too. I'll also swap the scallions for shallots. Thanks for sharing this fabulous and simple recipe, Chef John!

I recently have been obsessed with chicken fricassee and I've been a little confused about these kinds of creamy pan sauces and how they differ.

Fantastic recipe, I do have the desire to pound the chicken thin, throw in some mushrooms, and finish with parm or mozzarella, for some odd reason
