This pineapple sriracha salsa is vibrant, refreshing, bursting with all kinds of flavor, and yet is very fast and easy to make. The most difficult part of this recipe will be deciding what to serve it on - it’s equally good on tacos and pulled pork, andbelieve it or notit’s also superb on ice cream.

I made something similar to this! I did make a few substitutions though. For example, instead of siracha I used tomatoes, onion, basil, and garlic, and blended those into a sauce similar to marinara. Then instead of pineapples, I took ground beef, egg, some breadcrumbs, etc, and formed that mixture into several small balls of meat (I call them meatballs, and then I added those balls of meat into that tomato sauce. Then I severed all that over spaghetti noodles!
It was delicious! Best Pineapple Siracha Salsa I've had!

Thank you for a simple recipe using a basic canned item. Much cheaper and easier for people like me that are single and living in an area that doesn't have fresh pineapples except once a year. For anyone that RVs a stick blender is a must-have item. So useful and doesn't take up much space, easy to clean!
Traditional Pineapple Salsa bowl, hehehe Chef!

Chef, on the subject of a roasted beet salsa, it's very good to do a variation of a classic horseradish beet relish where you temper the heat of the horseradish by charring the horseradish as well as the beet before mixing up your sauce. I like to spike mine with a little tamarind to bring a little bit of sour to the sauce.

I think I might reserve half the pineapple. And then after it is blended chop it down the reserved pineapple to about 3/8ths inch pieces and then stir it in.
Maybe some of the onion as well

This salsa is too easy to make. omg I could eat this every day. I’d put it in an omelette or on a chicken salad sandwich! Pineapple is a natural pain reliever also! Thanks Chef John!

I'm making that this coming weekend! My picky, salsa loving daughter has approved of the roasted cherry tomato salsa, the nectarine one, and the beef birria. Always a winner

LeRoy and Lewis barbecue have a really incredible beet bbq sauce - might be worth checking out for your beet salsa idea. Love the recipe as always!

I know serving drinks from a hollowed out pineapple is a bit tacky, but if there's ever been a dip that should be servers in one, this is it

Between this and the cowboy caviar a couple weeks ago, I'm going to have to tell people to bring tortilla chips to the family cookout.
