Triple Seared Whiskey Burger - Food Wishes

This triple-seared whiskey burger uses the technique from my Japanese-style triple seared steak, and produces the most extraordinarily delicious, juicy burger, with a whiskey-soy glazed exterior. This will be a memorable grilled burger experience.

I've been a vegetarian for nearly 30 years. When I see a video like this, it's like an ex-lover phoning me and saying, Hey, how are you doing. It's me - meat. Remember how good I was to you Do you still remember the things I did for you, something no Portobello mushroom could ever do I'm still here. I've learned a couple tricks since you last saw me. Let's get together, sometime. Take your time, tiger.
Best wishes from Vermont

Although I'm not an alcoholic and know the alcohol cooks off, that and the aforementioned steak looks great.
Can you try triple searing something else yet again like oh, I don't know Chinese twice-cooked pork, but make it thrice-cooked pork I jokingly call microwaved leftover twice-cooked pork as thrice-cooked pork. I don't mind if you make regular, twice-cooked pork though.

That's a really undercooked burger and a clear recipe for food poisoning. You can get away with a bloody steak because the pathogens grow only on the outside, so a searing is sufficient. But with ground meat, it's all mixed up, meaning those pathogens on the top of the meat might not get seared. Extremely dangerous.

Hello chef!
First of all, I hope that Michele is resting comfortably after her knee replacement. I do hope it will provide her a bunch of relief.
That burger looks stunning! I don't remember if you gave instructions for how to do this technique without a grill but maybe I still manage to make this.

honest to god, I LOVE cooking videos. But your way of making every statement as a question makes this unwatchable. I tried for multiple videos. Why are you confused sounding when listing ingredients This does NOT INSTILL any confidence,

Place a grill grate over a chimney starter for extreme heat. Just make sure the charcoal can breath from the top and bottom. the only bummer about it is it's one patty or steak at time and it starts cooling after 3 or so.

Anyone tried this on a cast iron grill pan, indoors Like, for those of us apartment dwellers without access to a charcoal/gas grill outdoors I'm imagining it would work, it would just lack some of the smoke flavor.

While I’m a big believer that not every burger needs cheese and hamburgers are perfect on their own, I do wonder what the best cheese would be to go on this burger, if you wanted to make it a cheeseburger

Gonna try it with my ground turkey recipe. If its half as delicious as the steak, it will be outrageously good. Thanks for posting, now go fetch something for Michele. :)

I hope Michelle does as well as I did with my two knee replacements. After being very sedentary for 10 years with bad knees, I am now hiking for 8 miles in the mountains.

Can someone explain to me why I always see chefs handling raw meat then grabbing stuff like a salt shaker Are you all out there washing your salt shakers

Got a new hip in April and looking forward to this 4th of July now that I can stand and walk without pain. Shout out to Michelle and her recovery.

Oh my gosh! I’m already cooking turkey with the trimmings tonight and now I’m wanting this! Tomorrow it will be mine! Oh yes. It will.

Why do you sound constantly confused while teaching
EDIT: I get it, emulating trump. I dont approve but you do you. Burger looks good

Normally I don't like to guild the lily, but I really think that bun should be lightly toasted; or at least heated slightly.

If you pinch in the center of the patty, it will counter act the bulging that happened. Then you will end up with a flatter burger.
