Im from Ohio. Winters here can get really cold. Id make oatmeal, single serving size, using trail mix. I got tired of the store premix. I added all the same spices you have because they remind me of oatmeal cookies. Never thought of baking it before. Looks yummy Wonder if you can do them in ramekins?

This looks amazing. but my poor ass doesnt even know where to FIND whole vanilla beans or nutmeg; .;. I grew up with oats being boiled in water and thats it. Now Im older and add maple syrup (the American kind thats ALL chemical, and milk - this is a WHOLE new level lol.

What a beautiful addition this would be to a Christmas breakfast. And anything that can be prepared ahead of time is wonderful. The only thing I would have to remove is the raisins and replace with cranberries. Will never know why I simply am not a fan of those raisins.

Oh my God. I made this for my 2 year old twins. They had a hoot mixing it all up yesterday. Left it in the fridge overnight. Put it in the oven this morning. They absolutely inhaled it asking for 2nds. Easy way to fill them up and get fruit into them. awsome

I love that Gordon uses food the way he does. I always thought he was a jerk from seeing things like clips from Hells Kitchen, but now that Ive actually watched him on TV, you can see how caring and loving he is, especially with children.

Hey Mister Ramsay what do you think about the fact that chefs in german cooking shows make an essential mistake every 50 seconds and the testers that watched the shows basically say if you see those mistakes on tv you will do them at home
