That's how you do it That way and basically no other way. Unfortunately, growing up in Germany, my first 20 years or so, Carbonara for me was that dreadful thing we have over here with cream sauce and ham. It's not really bad, but. when I discovered the real Carbonara. pure bliss So easy, so quick, and so damn tasty. Thank you for this video, now I have to treat myself to some Carbonara in the next couple of days, probably. :-P

you are almost there. the bacon has to be changed with guanciale and cut in tough pieces and it must be cooked while the pasta is boiling, same thing for the eggs, they have to be mixed with pecorino romano (not parmesan) while the pasta il cooking. this way your spaghetti will not attach togheter while you prepare the rest. but this is one of the best carbonara version i have seen by non italians: )

Hey, for your next video can you please tell me a nice and simple chocolate cake recipe and frosting, I have seen all your last video out of which the only cake was the rose cake, it contains many ingredients like gelatin and sour cream that is not in my country, I would really like it if you give me a simple chocolate cake with frosting recipe for your next video, please. Thanks

Good Again, compliments from Italy That's almost the real italian recipe Just an info: Original carbonara is prepared with guanciale instead of bacon, because the first one is a litlle greasier and cooks in its own grease (you don't have to add any oil or butter. But I know it's pretty difficult to find it in USA. Plus, try cutting bacon in thicker pieces (0, 5 cm cubes)

Ok, I am Italian too, and come on, who cares if she uses bacon instead of our guanciale? Maybe, where she lives, she has access only to bacon? Anyway, I rather see someone that uses bacon, which is similar, than someone that puts heavy cream or only God knows what. This for me is an excellent carbonara

I normally like your videos but I'm sorry this recipe and video it's not well done. For those who really knows pasta you can see clearly that this is not al dente (1'58) and while cooking the spaghetti you already have to prepare the eggs, and last but not least use guanciale

I'm so, so, so glad the right recipe is online As an Italian, I always find foreign chefs ruining the amazing dish that is Carbonara. Aside from minor differences regarding the ingredients, your recipe is delicious and accurateThank you for sharing this

Yummi I'm Italian but I live in South Africa since last year and it's difficult to find pancetta here, so I often buy bacon to make Carbonara and it's delicious even if it is not the proper recipe: D

you're one of the few people who actually put the right recipe online, kudos (even though you actually need pecorino cheese and the bacon should be chopped in cubes but they're small things)

So good to see someone who actually knows how to make Carbonara I see so many people put cream in it and call it Carbonara, but it's actually Alfredo if you put cream in.
