Skillet Chocolate Cookie is an amazing irresistible dessert in form of a giant chocolate chip cookie that is easy and quick to prepare perfect for any occasion. It is served warm, with ice cream on top and is simply divine. Ingredients Makes about 8 servings 1/2 cup (113g) butter 1/4 cup (50g) sugar 1/2 cup (100g) light brown sugar 1 egg 1 tsp (5g) vanilla extract 1 1/2 cups (190g) flour 3/4 tsp (4. 5g) baking soda 1/2 tsp (3g) salt 1 cup (160g) chocolate chips or chocolate chunks 1. Preheat oven to 350F (180C. In a 9 -10 inch cast iron skillet melt butter over low heat. 2. Remove from heat and add sugar and light brown sugar. If necessary let it cool slightly before adding the egg. 3. Stir in egg and vanilla extract. Incorporate dry ingredients, salt, baking soda and flour. 4. Fold in the chocolate chips or chunks and spread the batter evenly in the skillet. 5. Bake for 20 minutes until slightly golden. 6. Serve warm with ice cream on top.

I made this just now ITS PERFECT I used pure light brown sugar (washed sugar) instead of light and white bc i dont have white sugar, but it did the trick I thought i'd fail on my first attempt bc i thought i put too much butter but its good Great recipe

I tried it twice but as soon as it gets to. room temperature it gets so hard. not even able to break it. please suggest what I am doing wrong. I really like it's taste but others dislike it because of it being too hard. please tell me the remedy

I just made it it was really easy, just a little problem, the chocolate melted because the eggs/flour/butter/sugar were hot When it's finished I will directly taste it I can't wait to taste it

Today i made this Recipe. It is soooo Delicious. I Prepared batter in Fry pan. but baked in separate baking round tray with oil paper. But same size as mentioned. it came perfect

Can you substitute the regular flour with almond flour I'm gluten Free and really want to try this recipe but I just don't know if it will change anything if I used Almond Flour

HELP ME PLEASE. Is it okay if I use packed brown sugar, it looks a little darker than packed light brown sugar. Should I reduce the brown sugar to white sugar ratio or what?
