I usually celebrate Canada Day by eating Poutine in Germany (we have that amazing chip shop place in a few cities which are basically making poutine but also making new versions of it) and they usually do something for canada day. Don't do july 4th because i just don't hahaha
But yeah we have the Day of Geman Unity on Otober 3rd but we don't celebrate it like americans do july 4th, we just have that day off school/uni/work and are basically just chilling at home

Thank you soooo much Yolanda for making this cake. I haven't celebrated Canada Day in Canada for nearly 10 years (since I was 5) because I move around so much. I am currently outside of Canada but this makes me feel as if I really am celebrating it properly this year. Happy Canada Day everyone!

I m from the U. K. we have bomb-fire night on the 5th November which celebrates the failed assassination of the King known as the gunpowder plot in 1605. We don t have any kind of Independence Day considering most places gained independence from us

The blue part of Old Glory is known as the field (in my experience, but it is more formally called the canton or the union. :) Thanks for celebrating with us Americans! Happy Canada Day to you!

I'm from Brazil and here we celebrate at September 7 as the independence day. We have parades with the essential services of the city (police, firefighters, schools, etc. It's a nice holiday: )
