Olive oil is a top dressing and should never be used in a fry pan. Add a little water to the eggs and never milk. Use an electric hand blender instead of whisking, you will actually see the eggs rise in the bowl as they become aerated. Fry under medium-low heat with a tat of butter in your non-stick fry pan. Add grated cheese (tex-mex is the best) and diced ham if you wish. Cook until golden brown but don't overcook, you don't want a tough skin to develop on your omelette (by cooking too long or too fast. Makes possibly the best fluffy omelettes you've ever tasted. Amaze your friends.

I don't believe that this is how three eggs become even if you beat the hell out of it, that totally looks like a pancake. And that guy speaks french exactly how peter griffin of family guy speaks italian. Also when he says au-revoir at the end, he doesn't sound french. Was this video published 5 years ago on the 1st of April by any chance?

Didn't work out as beautifully as expected. Played around. Super low heat, helps to cover the pan in first few minutes. and had to spread the oil all over, even use a tiny bit of butter at the start. Also a solid pinch of sugar and vanilla bean extract in the eggs before whipping made it really nice too.

Why isn t anyone talking about the egg? They edited this video for sure. Usually you whip the white separate from the yellow or use more white. It s not possible to get it this fluffy with this exact steps.

It shows him adding separate whisked egg whites, but didnt mention it. I m a chef and know an omelette does not get that light, almost pancake like without folding in egg whites.

I'm no chef but surely that egg on top was nowhere near cooked, I wouldnt want to eat just whisked eggs, I normally just turn it over to fry the top as well
