'It's all about the toppings! '. Spicy mustard, the sweetest crispy onions and a deliciously smoked frankfurter, this hot dog recipe will change the way you make them forever. Levels of flavour like no other, the Food Busker is certainly back with a bang, and he isn't messing around! He is back on the streets and he wants to know how much YOU would pay for this awesome little number! He's not done there, Food Busker wants to know what else you like to top your hot dogs with? Is there a special kind of sausage or bun you would use? Please let us know in the comments box below, and

So much effort to prepare the caramelised onions and time to grill the sausages, in order to have them swimming in ketchup and mustard. My view is that sauces only they destroy the taste of the sausages. Onions should be more than enough: )

First of all using shallots and olive oil It becomes an expensive hot dog, food cost rises and how much are you going to sell that hot dog but for home use yes It's an awesome recipe Enjoyed!

Pathetic! If you don't have a personality. Do not act as you have one. Take a chance and be boring! Guy Ritchie ruined Englishness. Do not try to be cool! Be nerdy. whatever. but not cool!

I have a little problem drying the caramelized onions, between the oil and the sugar they stick hard to the paper towel. I lose almost half of my caramelized onions every time. Any tips.

This hot dog is incomplete without some kind of vinegar element, also who is paying 10 dollars for a hot dog anywhere? Amusement parks and airlines don t even charge that much.

I'd say that this is a posh gastropub frankfurter but no way a NY style hot dog. I think you'd be hard pressed to find any dog like this in America.

To me that looked more like a sausage on a bun then a hot dog. and really you only need condiments in side the bun not slopped all over the place.

I made the mustard/paprika/chili flake/oil combo and it was amazing! Topped off with ketchup, pickles and onion and it was simply the bomb!
