For the records I am Jamie fan but I have a question here. If this is home cooking then why is she wasting so much food? She took out the inside of the tomatoes, probably two layers of Onions. Also, how does placing the scallops clockwise would help? Isn't she just turning them once and those which are turned upside down obviously look different that others. Moreover isn't it essentially fried scallops with salsa, presented nicely?

You are a gem! What a fantastic recipe, I can't wait to try it. You explained everything so well and didn't rush anything. I loved that this video was less about loud music and being crazy, and more about good quality cooking and actually teaching us how to cook. My fav dish to have at a restaurant is scallops. Best place to have them is Barrenjoeys House, Palm Beach, Sunny Sydney, Australia. Cheers: )

She sounds like Gordon, haha. Also, if you buy your scallops live, in their shells, the only poisoning they might give you is cyanotoxic, which can't be prevented by cooking. This isn't chicken or pork, you don't need to worry about cross contamination. Fish and other marine animals can be eaten raw, so long as they're fresh.

What I love about FoodTube is anyone can get a chance to shine. and here is Natalie shining. Great looking recipe. I've never had scallops. don't think we have them here in Cape Town, but this looks delicious. Jamie, are you familiar with Cape Malay cuisine? If you actually reply, lol, I'll have something to brag about.

I didn't like it too much. Her technique with knives seems medium lvl and not high level. Also, you can eat raw scallop if it's fresh. And last but not less, she didn't cut the scallop once the plate was finished just to see how it looks in the middle. Normally on this videos, they always try the food at the end: P

This looks absolutely awesome. Can't wait to try it. The only think I would change would be to add the lemon juice to the sauce after turning off the stove. This will keep it's bright freshness and make sure it doesn't get bitter as citrus juices often tend to when heated.

Hi! Great tip for peeling tomatoes! That was worth a thumb's up. On the other hand, it seems a shame to chuck out the middle of the tomatoes! I'm sure it's possible to cook some sauce with them or put them in a salad, isn't it? by the way, keep at it!

I hate that she keeps tossing things in her hands, and I hate when scallops are served in their shell, its so cheesy, but honestly the dish looks great, and I really dont mean to talk negative, great job Im sure it was delicious

i like how she is showing people how to cut the things that are in the recipe, like little tricks. My husband is a chef and that's the biggest thing friends and family ask for him to teach them, how to cut this or that.

Hi Chef! Could you please tell me where the seafood s flavour goes after using lemon during the cooking process and in the sauce too. and another little tip. cooked basil is illegal in several countries.
