My strawberry jam was always a big hit with my family. The recipe in this video is for a small portion: it makes 1 cup of strawberry jam with 1 pound of strawberries. It goes great with my bread rolls:

Maangchi, you're the BERRIES! haha Hey, a very basic question. I live in one of the strawberry capitols of the world. There are so many strawberries here, you almost cannot walk in certain areas without squishing hundreds under your feet. It's true. BUT, my issue is, often the strawberries are white inside! Sometimes they are even white outside near the tops. What's the deal with that? It's a little tricky to find strawberries that are red, or nearly so, all the way through. I suspect that the strawberries around here are picked before they are fully ripe to rush them to market before the next big producer beats them to the punch. So, we all end up with strawberries that are not quite fully ripe. What do you think? Is there anything that can be done about making jam when the strawberries aren't completely red all the way through? Thousand thanks! ;-)

Hi Maangchi! I love your bread rolls, I have make them many times would you please tell me for how long I can keep the jam and should I keep in fridge? Thank you

Save the strawberry leaves to make tea. Very good for muscle pain and oral health. Boil the leaves in water, drink plain or add honey or sugar.

Fresh strawberry jam is a thousand times better than store bought. It tastes like fresh strawberries! My mom made it all the time!
