Here is a recipe that gives you the taco truck style of a delicious carne asada burrito. The best part about his recipe is that the toppings are to your tastes. I use a fresh pico de gallo, avocado, cheses, mexican crema and a homemade salsa to make the perfect homemade burrito. CARNE ASADA INGREDIENTS 2 lbs skirt steak or (beef of your choice) 1 medium to large orange 1 medium lime 2 tbls soy sauce 2 tsp garlic powder ( I said 1 tsp in video. whoops) 2 tsp onion powder 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp black pepper

I work all day and I am on the computer most of the time. I just love to hear and when I am able to watch you. I take a peek every once in a while to see what you are doing. Do you have a recipe for Bul Chi tacos. Not sure if I am spelling it right. Oh also do you have a recipe for Legngue Tongue Tacos? You remind me when I was young and I use to watch my welita cook. I am older now but I enjoy hearing and watching you. You give me different ideas to the way I been cooking all these years. Keep you recipes coming. Just adore you family. Oh and I just cried seeing your grandma on the video. Mine all have passed my parents grandparents. You are blessed to have yours. thank you

Wow I'm making these. I made your tortillas they came out so good dont have the rolling down so they were shaped kinda funny. My family is half German and half Hispanic. So to make them a double batch of home made breakfast tacos was a surprise when I told them I made the tacos. I made homemade peco with them got total raves from each and everyone. All said best they had since they were little a d some say best ever. Thank you so much. I'm the German so i hate using garlic and onion powder so if i make the burritos can I just mix mince and smash the garlic an onions and add to marinade or blend marinade first. Thank you. You made me look like a Mexican. Yes I'm so happy.

Looks like you should have doubled the amount of marinade. Also your marinade is only for flavor, there are no enzymes in it so it won't tenderize the meat. I understand using cheaper meat, but when making a video you should go with the meat that most people will use, which is likely skirt steak. Most of us won't find taco meat on sale and will use skirt steak. Buy the taco meat that's on sale for your personal use. All that meat in the pan at once is too much, you stewed it. Should do it in batches as meat with char is so much tastier. Sorry for all the criticisms but there are too many others who make videos with all the errors you made.

I know this is off topic, but I couldn't get over the MULTIPLE different prices on that meat! Which is the price! Is it intentionally confusing? Because I could see someone grabbing it because it's a lower price and reaching checkout and realizing it's twice the price, but too scared to say anything and just pays the extra. In my country, if there's a price slash, especially if it's on meat that's closing in on it's expiry date, they're required to cover the old price with the new sticker with an expiry warning. The US is so sketchy man, in literally everything, and here I thought we were the third world country.

Taco meat like that is suspect. Its either re-packaged to extend sell date or literal scraps they needed to find a use for. Same goes with pre-seasoned grocery store meat(normally red seasoning or a dark color to mask it, then salt to further preserve, last week it was the store chopped up chicken, week prior to that it was the whole chicken being sold. Not only is it not as fresh, they sell it at an upcharge instead of discount. That's why I'm highly suspect of such packaging for meat, I wouldn't buy it.

Sorry Mama. Im from San Diego, and I beg to differ. Carne asada burritos do not contain beans, nor cheese. but simply carne asada, pico de gallo, and guacamole. I truly believe that your burritos appeal to a certain segment of the population, but to folks who are truly loyal to the OG Southern California/Mexico burrito. I gotta go with the the simple meat, pico, guac burrito.

I'm leery of what passes for beef taco meat. I see it advertised in my local stores' sale flyers. Sounds to me like roughly chopped pieces of leftover beef scraps, much along the lines of what's tossed into the grinder to become ground beef. I'd opt for a pricier piece of steak, not eat it as often, so as to work up a good appetite and really savor the carne asada.

I made your chicken chimichangas recipe last week and they were fantastic! I'm making more tomorrow but I wanted to also make a carne asada version. I knew you'd have something I could use! I think the refried beans, carne asada and the jack cheese (or oaxaca cheese) will make a great filling.

I think refried beans is frijoles refritos. just like chile relleno. super filled chile. it got lost in the translation. it actually should be refrito like relleno. but someone kept the re and tacked on fried instead of frito. you know how re mean very or super. like repuerco, recabron or rependejo.
