Easy Mexican Rice Recipe KooKooforCards: I love Mexican rice after living in San Antonio for 24 yrs then moving North of Dallas you can tell the differences between authentic and what most Northerners come up with. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I do have a question. if all I have on hand is instant rice is there things I should do differently? I really want to make this tonight so I hope you see this ASAP cause you have my mouth watering for a big bowl with some refried beans. oh God now I'm drooling just thinking about it. Again Thank you for sharing. Hugs from Texas

I can also do a Beef stock broth or beef bouillon and tomato sauce can. hmmm. the possibilities. Pork bouillon and can tomato sauce? I'm using canned for both cause I'm building a short term 2-3 years emergency food supply where everything is in cans except for Mylar bag & Oxygen absorbers stored rice and beans) canned chicken/beef broth last over 2-3 years in air conditioned storage. ps. I eat onion/garlic/pickled jalapenos every day. it's like taking vitamins.

Bless you for this recipe! It was sooo easy! I couldn't find tomato and chicken bouillon cubes, so I used tomato paste and a chicken bouillon cube because thats what I had at home. Oh my gosh, it was so yummy. Rice is always my favorite thing to order at restaurants and I think this was just as tasty if not BETTER!

I am going to try this recipe! And thank you for all the alternatives! EDIT: the rice actually came out delicious omg. Never made Mexican rice because i felt like it was gonna be nasty or not gonna taste like the restaurant rice kind. But it came out really good! Even with the alternatives

I used this recipe to make Mexican rice on my own, for the first time, without any help from my mom or Tias and WOW. Came out perfect, like I have been making it for years. I m so excited! Thanks so much for your amazing videos, explanations, and substitutions. You re the best!

Just a short comment on the red pot you are using, in the video that pot looks alot bigger than the link you gave, I ordered that pot and it's extremely tiny. I love your videos and not trying to be negative, so can you tell me what size pot that is so I can get the actual size

Why when I make this my rice comes out yellowish brown and not red? I have used the Knorr Tomato Buillon Cubes (disolved) in hot water. That is the only water i add to the rice? I follow the instructions to a tee. This is for 1 1/3 cup of rice.

Hi I love how your rice came out. What kinda of pot or pan do you use, brand is it? For some reason my rice always burns. I have tried different way of making it and still it just doesn t come out like the way I expect it to.
