Today I am cooking at home and making honey fried chicken tenders. This is an easy recipe that gives you tender crunchy golden fried chicken. Ingredients 1 lb ( 454g ) chicken breast 2 cups (473 ml) buttermilk 2 to 3 Tbsp (30 to 45 ml) Louisiana hot sauce 2 Tbsp seasoning spice mix (see recipe below) 2 cups (270 g) flour cooking oil for frying 2 Tbsp warm honey (to drizzle on hot fried chicken) SPICE BLEND 3 tsp poultry seasoning blend 2 tsp Lawry's seasoning salt 3 tsp lemon pepper 1 1/2 tsp onion powder 1 tsp garlic powder

Ok so I think according to your ingredient list we arent going to be using actual chicken tenders, but instead just boneless chicken breasts cut into planks? Is this correct? Just asking because in my area I can buy porterhouse steak for the same price as actual chicken tenders, so don't use them very often. Thank you.

This recipe reminds me of a restaurant in Texas during the 1950s. They did an amazing job of frying the chicken well seasoned and always serviced it with honey. I am going to try your recipe this weekend for my family. Thank you for the recipe and thank you for the memory from my childhood!

Do you always cook every meal from scratch (breakfast, lunch & dinner) or do you use pre-made foods & take-out (restaurants) too?
